The Southern Maryland Sailing Foundation, founded in 1999, supports youth and community sailing by providing capital equipment to organized junior instruction, high school racing, and sailing training programs, and special funding for gifted competitive racing sailors.
The foundation seeks continuous contributions to expand and upgrade its fleet of small sailboats, safety and coaching boats, and supporting hardware.
The Foundation grants the use of its boats and equipment to organizations using them to support junior sailing.
